Signs and Symptom
Many ano-rectal problems mimic the similar signs and symptoms as haemorrhoids and misinterpreted as hemorrhoids. Usually, hemorrhoids are not serious or life threatening by themselves and has lesser side effects. The most familiar symptom of hemorrhoids is bright red blood on stools or on toilet paper. However, hardly ever do the patients bleed to an extent that may cause severe anemia or any dangerous disorder.
Common signs and symptoms of hemorrhoids are as follows:
Bleeding from the anus present: on the stool, toilet paper, or in the toilet bowel.
Hard lump around the anus and swelling.
Anal itching and burning.
Pain during bowel movements.
