Bowel Constipation Movement
The most common reason of hemorrhoids is constipation. Alternating and difficult bowel movements due to lack of fluid or bad food or some other reasons may cause abdominal pain, swelling, hard stools and in the worst scenario, hemorrhoids. Sometimes we may ignore the urge for bowel movements due to many reasons like lack of privacy or even pure laziness and so on. Hence, after a few minutes, the urge goes away and will not start again for quite a few hours. At this point in time the feces become harder by drying up leading to constipation.
Constipation illustrates bowel movements that involve extreme difficulty of straining that occurs less than twice a week. The most common cause of constipation is lack of fluids and fibers in your diet. Regularly delaying defecation and pregnancy are also the causes of constipation.
Hemorrhoids are the complications of constipation that include spotting of blood along with stools. Hemorrhoids may be inside the anus (internal) or around the anus. Women, especially pregnant ladies suffer more from hemorrhoids. Constipation can become a problem in pregnancy due to hormonal changes affecting the digestive system. It is mainly due to the pressure of the enlarged uterus exerted on the rectal area. For any case of hemorrhoids, the best method to follow is to add more fibers like fruits and green leafy vegetable, whole grain and cereals, beans, nuts and sprouts and good amount of liquids in your diet. Drink sufficient amount of water or juices; a total of 8-10 glasses daily.
