Types of hemorrhoids

Hemorrhoids develop from two different places in the anal region. A swelling of veins inside the anal canal at the lumen of the distal intestinal tract causes internal hemorrhoids, while external hemorrhoids are a result of swollen veins surrounding the anus i.e at the anal opening and are visible most of the times. Sometimes people can have both the types present at the same time.
